How to Train for the Toughest Sporting Challenges

We all know how important it is to exercise. And we also know that there's a wealth of amazing sporting challenges out there - such as a Tough Mudder or 10km charity run (you can even take them on for Anthony Nolan!). However, while these are still very challenging, we wanted to take a look at some of the toughest sporting challenges you can undertake.

Our latest infographic explores the toughest sporting challenges - and most importantly, how to go about training for them. (For example, if you’re entering the Snowdonia Marathon you’ll need to prepare yourself for the cold and windy weather, as the event takes place at the end of October).

Take a look at the infographic below to find out which challenge you should participate in. (Perhaps you’re an incredibly keen sportsperson and might be interested in the Marathon des Sables, where you’ll run a marathon every day for six days in the Sahara Desert?)

We understand that challenges this extreme aren’t for everyone - so if you’d like to get started with something a bit more straightforward then take a look at our active challenges.
